• Always check the bottle for damage, including splits in the body or seams, before use.

• Never use boiling water.

• Fill to no more than two-thirds capacity.

• Carefully expel excess air before fitting the stopper.

• Ensure the stopper is straight and securely tightened to prevent leaks.

• Always keep the cover between the bottle and your skin.

• Never sit or lie on a hot water bottle.

• Never place a hot water bottle in a baby's cot.

• Store empty, with the stopper removed, and avoid placing heavy objects on top.

• Replace the hot water bottle every 2–3 years.
